Simply apply coconut to the affected area two to three times a day. There is no need to wash it off since coconut oil is very beneficial for your skin.

Application of Shea Butter: 

Applying raw shea butter to wounds helps in preventing a scar or keep a scar from getting too large, deep or itchy. The omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants in shea butter have been shown to inhibit keloid scar tissue and repair skin.

It is advisable to apply shea butter immediately after getting a wound, so as to keep it moist and prevent itching.

Application of Aloe Vera: 

Long known as a great natural remedy to help many skin conditions, aloe vera also aids in dealing with scars. It does not only soothe damaged skin, but it also aids in regenerating the damaged tissues by boosting the healing process.

Simply peel its outer green cover to reveal a gel-like substance. Apply the gel directly onto the scarred area. Leave it for about a half hour or longer if possible.

Honey:

Another excellent natural remedy for scars is honey. It is an extremely good skin moisturizer. It prevents the accumulation of dead skin cells, by destroying them  and stimulates growth of new skin tissue.

Apply some honey on the scar, cover it with a bandage and wash off with warm water.

Onion Extract: 

Onion extract is another natural option that can be used in removing scars. Due to its unique bioflavenoids, such as quercetin, kaempferol and cepalin, onion extract improves scar performance.

Apple Cedar Vinegar:

The apple cedar vinegar is an astringent and a natural disinfectant that makes it a great antiseptic and an effective treatment of acne and acne scars. Due to the fact that the apple cider vinegar can help eliminate dead skin cells, it can also help fade away acne scars.

Mix apple cider vinegar with honey; then, using a cotton ball, apply to the skin or affected area. Leave it on for about 10 minutes, and then rinse. You can do this two to three times a day.
