6 fruits you should be eating and WHY

Diseases are as a result of a non-nutritious diet.

Cliché, right? Maybe.

However, the fact that it has become a cliché doesn’t mean it isn’t still true. This brings to mind one of my favorite sayings, “we are what we eat”. Believe it or not, this saying is actually true. The road to disease can easily be altered or disrupted by consuming healthy foods, especially green foods.

In our previous post, we discussed generally on the health benefits that can be gotten from consuming green foods. Here we are going to know the advantages that can be gotten from consuming these specific green foods listed below.

Apples: As little or big as an apple may be, its health benefits cannot be compared with its size. This crisp fruit helps in fighting obesity, lowering cholesterol, reducing your risk of stroke and stave off certain types of cancer, amongst others. Although this benefits are more associated with green apples but the good news is that they also apply to both red and yellow apples. Indeed an apple a day, keeps away the doctor.
