The launch of an ultramodern fully-automated diagnostic centre was part of the activities that took place at the 40th anniversary of Ogun State, which took place at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OSUTH).
Dr. Babatunde Ipaye, the Ogun State commissioner of Health said that the services at the centre is open to all Nigerians and are discounted to enable the less privileged in the society to be able to access modern radiology diagnosis facilities.
The Centre is a public private partnership with Hospital Assist Nigeria, HAN, an indigenous healthcare investment company. Dr. Wale Alabi, the CEO of HAN said that the centre is deployed as a diagnosis service in Ogun State
Informing the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, that similar modes can also be replicated in other states of the federation.
The Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Speaker of the house of assembly,Adekumbi Suraj Ishoola, the Ogun Atate Onauga and other top government officials were among those present to mark the ceremony.
