7 Foods that will make You Look forever young

If you get to question five people about aging, one answer you would surely get from majority is their desire to remain young. These days, you could easily notice the worries on the face of youths when they start noticing signs of aging. During this period, most individuals start running helter skelter looking for what to use to achieve this aim; exploring one natural beauty remedy or the other becomes a daily activity.

There are so many products designed to keep us looking young, from our skin to our hair. But the truth remains that when it comes to health, most of the things we seek comes from within.  Remembering one of my favorite phrase/quote here, “We are what we eat”, one of the easiest ways to look young and remain healthy is to pay close attention to what we put inside our body.

It is true that trying to look young by maintaining a healthy lifestyle could be achieved in so many ways of which include exercise, nutrition and rest. Here we would be looking at achieving this through nutritioning. Here are certain foods that can keep you looking young if incorporated into your diet.

Tomatoes contains a powerful antioxidant known as lycopene, which aids in protecting your skin from sun damage. Lycopene works from within, reducing skin redness and UV damage, thus keeping your skin healthy. You could either choose to apply them as facial masks by blending with almonds or incorporating them into your diet.

Leafy greens:

Leafy greens like spinach and kale are rich in lutein, which helps in protecting your skin from sun damage and wrinkles.  Getting a healthy dose of leafy greens in your diet will help keep your skin looking smooth and youthful.

Blueberries are considered the highest in antioxidants among all other berries. They supply vitamins C and E, two antioxidants that work in tandem to brighten skin, even out tone and fight off free-radical damage.
