Men have different needs from women, including their nutritional needs. Men need some certain nutrients found in certain foods for certain reasons. One of such reasons is better performance in the bedroom and a good chance at procreation. Low sperm count is one down factor that affects both. It has been linked with vitamins deficiency, low zinc in a man’s diet. There are some foods that boost sperm count. I will share a few. You can either take them wholly or mix them with other foods. Feel free to experiment with them. A change in diet can go a long way in causing a difference, in this case in the bedroom.
Some foods that boost sperm count are:
Bananas! I personally am a big fan of bananas.
Bananas have been found to increase male libido. They are rich in vitamins which help boost the body’s ability to produce sperm. They also contain an enzyme known as bromelain and this enzyme does help regulate sex hormones.
Dark chocolates are high in antioxidants.
These antioxidants help combat those toxins linked to male infertility. They also contain an amino acid known as L-Arginine. This acid increases the volume of the semen, making dark chocolate a great food that boost sperm count.
Walnuts are a great source of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids boost blood flow to the ‘down-there’ region of a man. Some sea foods like sardines, crabs and salmon are also a great source of omega-3 fatty acids.
Eggs, very rich in proteins and vitamin E are known to be primary in production of strong sperms. They are also good at protecting sperm cells from harmful effects.
Garlic contains an antioxidant known as selenium which helps improve the sperm motility. It also is a major source of allicin which helps improve the blood flow to the sexual organs of a man; they also protect the sperm from impending dangers.
