Prof. Chris Bode, the Chief Managing Director (CMD) of Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), has expressed joy as the hospital sendoff its first set of graduates from the school Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET).
Prof. Bode made it known that they were present to celebrate eighteen young Nigerians who are engineers on their own but graduating from one year professional course initiated by the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH).
He congratulated the FMoH, GE Healthcare Foundation and the Engineering World Health (EWH), for a job well done.
Prof. Carmen Walker, the Director of the school of Biomedical Engineering in LUTH, also expressed her deep sense of pleasure at the ceremony, as she witnessed the dream to establish biomedical engineering in LUTH come to fruition.
