Natural Ways To Deal With A Receding Hairline

No individual wants to go bald or even have an obvious receding hairline. Receding hairline is a natural occurrence in many individuals and can be embarrassing and very annoying. However, this is not an uncommon development as you grow older. Having a fully intact hairline makes you feel younger and more attractive.

Age isn’t the only thing that spurs hair loss, though. There are other contributing factors for hair loss, such as mental and emotional stress, lack of a balanced diet, chemical hair treatments, illnesses, and harsh medications. Hair loss could also be inherited, but there is still much that can be done to stop, and perhaps even reverse, a receding hairline.

Don’t fret about your receding hairline as this problem can be solved,  and it can be solved naturally. Below are 7 natural ways to deal with a receding hairline:

Application of Castor Oil: One of the best natural remedy is to massage key oils into the scalp to help regenerate new growth. Castor oil is one of the best oils for doing this. Castor oil can be mixed with a few drops of lemon essential oil.

Make diet and lifestyle changes:   How you take care of your body will affect everything that goes on with your body. Incorporating lots of fruits,  vegetables,  lean proteins and whole grains within a reasonable calorie count into your diet everyday indicates you are eating a healthy diet,  and this will show in your hair and other parts of your body.

Incorporate fish into your diet: Have fish in your diet. With its omega-3, vitamin D and other minerals, this protein food aids in the prevention of hair loss. Fish oil has a high content of omega-3 fatty acids that can help your hair,  nail and teeth get stronger and stay healthier. As a bonus,  omega-3 fatty acids also boost your cardiovascular health.

Avoid stress: Having some stress is considered normal but too much of it is not good. Excessive stress can lead to premature gray hair, thinning hair and receding hairline, especially in men. If you are under great pressure, it is best to get relax by taking a long vacation, performing some yoga or trying other relaxation techniques.

Other changes you could try include:

  • Avoid hair care products that contain harsh chemicals and toxins. Hair dyes and sprays should be avoided to stay free from sudden hair loss. Hair products with harsh chemicals weaken each hair individually and could lead to hair splits and fall outs—especially along your hairline.
  • Also, avoid stop combing or brushing your hair so aggressively if you are. Combing your hair backwards especially too often could lead to receding hair.
  • Use pillowcases that would help cradle your head and hair more nicely. This would aid in reducing excess loss of hair. Silk or satin pillowcases are recommended for this purpose.

Indeed,  a receding hairline does not have to stay that way forever. With the above shared tips,  you can stop your receding hairline from getting worse and actually regrow it!!!
